Brand identity for The Cottesloe Beach Hotel: A landmark destination in Perth for over 100 years, situated on one of Australia’s most iconic beaches.
The Cottesloe Beach Hotel identity can be summed up in one word: Classic. It is an identity that encompasses both nostalgia from beach culture in the 50’s (A heyday for the establishment) as well as being contemporary enough to draw a more sophisticated crowd and reflect the evolving state of beach culture.
Working with Hecker Guthrie on this project was my first scope into interior design. It greatly expanded my understanding and appreciation for the process and its relationship to graphic design. In the end our aesthetic approaches blended seamlessly; each complimenting the other.
